Welcome to the University of South
Carolina!
The Office of Orientation and Testing
Services offers programs to help you make the most of your USC
experience. Each new undergraduate student is expected to
attend Orientation. All of our Orientation programs are
designed to assist you with the transition to University life.
At Orientation, new students to USC will meet with an academic
advisor, register for classes, receive a Carolina Card (student
ID), learn about campus resources, University services, and
University expectations. Your Orientation experience will be
led by University administrators with the assistance of
qualified student leaders. They will answer your questions and
help guide you into your first semester. You can also schedule
a campus tour with the
Visitor Center.
