The computer-based GRE is the
GRE-General Test only. GRE Subject Exams are only offered
as paper-based tests. Candidates who wish to register for a
GRE Subject Exam must contact ETS directly.

offered:
Tuesday through Friday at 9:00
am and 1:00 pm
Cost:
$140
Candidates
who register with USC by phone must pay with a credit card
(Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express).
Candidates registering with USC in person may pay with a
personal check, money order, or the above mentioned credit
cards.
Reschedule
fee:
$50 must be at least ten (10)
business days prior to test date (not including actual test
date). Effective July 1, 2008, It will cost $50 to
reschedule a test as long as it is rescheduled three full
business days in advance. For example, if your original
test date was on a Friday, you will need to reschedule the
test by the prior Monday.
Cancellation
Refund:
$70 must be at least ten (10)
business days prior to test date (not including actual test
date). Effective July
1, 2008, in order to qualify for a refund of $70 for test
cancellation, you must cancel three full business days in
advance. For example, if your original test date was on a
Friday, you will need to cancel the test by the prior
Monday.
ID
requirements:
Current signature bearing photo
ID (e.g., driver's license) for US citizens; Current
passport for non-US citizens (refer to Registration Bulletin
for more details)
Length:
The GRE is scheduled
to take four (4) hours.
Scores:
Candidates will be able to view UNOFFICAL scores for
quantitative and verbal sections on a compter screen at
conclusion of test. ETS will send official score reports to
designated schools and candidates within 10-15 business days
after the test administration.
Retesting:
GRE may be taken
once per calendar month, up to five (5) times in a twelve
month period. Candidates must retake the entire exam, not
just those parts they wsh to perform better on.
