Note:  Praxis II Core and Subject tests are only offered via paper and pencil.  Candidates wanting to register for a Praxis II Core or Subject test must contact ETS directly.  To take paper and pencil versions of the Praxis I:  Pre-Professional Skills Test (PPST), candidates must contact ETS directly.

 When offered:                             Tuesday through Friday at 9:00 am and 1:00 pm

 Cost:                                                 $80 (one test), $120 (two tests), $160 (three tests); $130 for the combined PPST.  Candidates who register with USC by phone must pay with a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express).   Candidates registering with USC in person may pay with a personal check, money order, or the above mentioned credit cards.

 Reschedule fee:                          $15 per appointment must be at  least three (3) business days prior to test date (not including actual test date)

 Cancellation Refund:                Individual tests:  $20 per test, $60 for combined must be at least three (3) business days prior to test date (not including actual test date)

 ID requirements:                        Current signature bearing photo ID (e.g., driver's license) for US citizens; Current passport for non-US citizens (refer to Registration Bulletin for more details)

 Length:                                            Each individual exam is scheduled to take two (2) hours.  Combined exam is scheduled to take 4.5 hours.

 Scores:                                             Candidates will be able to view UNOFFICIAL scores for math and reading sections on a compter screen at conclusion of test.  ETS will send official score  reports to designated schools and candidates within 10-15 business days after the test administration.  Passing scores for the Praxis I PPST in the state of South Carolina are Math 172, Reading 175, and Writing 173.

 Retesting:                                      Praxis I may be taken once per calendar month, up to six (6) times per 12 month period.  Candidates may retake the combined test or retake only those parts required to pass.
